About Us

About Us ….

Chartered in April, 1968, the Kiwanis Club of Lehigh Acres is one of our community’s oldest civic organizations. No other club in our community has contributed more money, time and volunteer hours to youth, elderly, or those in need than the Kiwanis. That is a record our members are proud of and one that requires our organization to reach out and continually enlist others to energize our ranks. Our charitable funds are raised exclusively through the generous donations to and by our customers’ patronage of the KIWANIS THRIFT STORE.

Each year over $100,000 has been budgeted by our club to make “our world” a better place to live.

The Kiwanis of Lehigh Acres

Each year in September, Kiwanis prepares a budget of giving contributions and funding support to its many sponsored programs. This past year over $100,000 was appropriated to the various programs.

Funding is a result of the many volunteer hours provided by

members and others at the KIWANIS THRIFT STORE.

Kiwanis receives generous tax deductible donations of unwanted, useful household items such as: clothing, furnishings, sporting goods, appliances, fixtures, tools, books, luggage, you name it ….

we’ve probably got it!

The merchandise is resold which generates funds to sponsor all of

our projects. Some of our past and present projects include:

Key Clubs, Shots for Tots, Hope Hospice, Ronald McDonald House, Meals on Wheels, Community Services, Salvation Army, Horses for Handicapped, LARC, Do the Right Thing, High School Athletics, Apples for Teachers, FGCU Scholarships, LSHS Chorus, Spring Festival, Concert Association, Heifer Project, Terrific Kid Programs, Iodine Deficiency Disorder, Habitat for Humanity, Day Care Center Grants, Children Wish Foundation, Concert Band, Candlelighters, Lehigh Singers, Community Council, K-Kids Clubs, Healthy Start, Academic Award Programs, WGCU Radio, High School Bands, Boy Scouts , Soccer Leagues, Pop Warner Programs, 911 Education, The Sheriffs Youth Activities League, Golf Tournaments College Scholarships, Middle School Bands, Home School Activities, Girl Scouts, Little Leaguers, Youth Swim Programs, ECHO International, Paint Your Heart Out, Builder’s Clubs, Native American Assoc.      HELLO Kiwanis!

My name is Mark Kolack and I spoke with one of your members recently about being a guest speaker for one of your upcoming meetings.

I am a stress management consultant and principal owner of HEARTBiz Consulting where I assist individuals and organizations to relax, reduce stress, improve health, breakthrough limits, increase performance and create more sustainable, profitable and fulfilling results in their lives and their businesses through dynamic motivational speaking, training and coaching programs.

I have been in Naples for almost 3 years now and I am looking for opportunities to add value to people’s lives in the tri-county area by being a guest speaker/seminar leader at one of their meetings, events or conferences. I would welcome the opportunity to come, meet your club and do my presentation for you titled:

    HOW TO CREATE THE IMPOSSIBLE
    Principles, Practices & Perspectives For
    Breakthrough Performance In your Life,
    Business, Health and Relationships

“Many years ago Mark Kolack created a medical miracle in his life by healing from a chronic illness through all natural means. Today he teaches others how to apply powerful yet little known principles to shift any area of life and create what some may feel is impossible for them.”

I have spoken at several of your clubs in the Naples area over the past few months and am venturing out into the Ft. Myers area.

Please let me know your thoughts and thank you for your time and consideration. I look forward to hearing from you!

    Respectfully,
    Mark Kolack
