{"id":129,"date":"2014-05-18T17:05:22","date_gmt":"2014-05-18T17:05:22","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/lehighacreskiwanis.info\/site\/?p=129"},"modified":"2017-05-11T16:21:48","modified_gmt":"2017-05-11T16:21:48","slug":"lehigh-acres-kiwanis-club-hands-out-scholarships","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/lehighacreskiwanis.info\/site\/lehigh-acres-kiwanis-club-hands-out-scholarships\/","title":{"rendered":"Lehigh Acres Kiwanis Club Hands Out Scholarship\u2019s"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"color: #636363;\">This fall the Kiwanis Club of Lehigh Acres will have 51 students enrolled in colleges and universities all across this great nation of ours.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #636363;\">They have been awarded and will be receiving $156,950 in Lehigh Acres Kiwanis Club Foundation scholarships.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #636363;\">This year alone Lehigh Acres Kiwanis Club Foundation will be awarding 16 brand new scholarships to Lehigh Acres residents, while renewing 17 previous recipients, while still having 18 continuing students.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #636363;\"><span id=\"more-30575\"><\/span>The Lehigh Senior HS students who received scholarships included:<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #636363;\">Gonzalo Contreras, Seo Dieng, Rosmery Garcia, Judy-Ann Gauld, Tiffany Herrera, Elisa Nonlall and Stephy Oge<\/p>\n<p>The East Lee County HS students who received scholarships included:<\/p>\n<p>Dayana Balsalobre, Daniel Corral, Rickie Duncan, Peter Gooden, Jessica Mendez<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #636363;\">Foundation Director Rick Anglickis said, \u201cAll the scholarships are made possible because of the wonderful people who donate and purchase clothing and household items of all kinds from our<a style=\"color: #3982a6;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.lehighacreskiwanis.info\/\">Kiwanis Thrift Store<\/a>\u00a0onHomestead Rd.\u201d<\/p>\n<!-- AddThis Advanced Settings generic via filter on the_content --><!-- AddThis Share Buttons generic via filter on the_content -->","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This fall the Kiwanis Club of Lehigh Acres will have 51 students enrolled in colleges and universities all across this great nation of ours.
